Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.

The players listed below are in position to provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Friday.

Jose Altuve: With a lifetime .354/.405/.508 slash line against left-handers, the second baseman has proven to be one of the best in baseball during those matchups. Altuve could add to his impressive 2016 totals of 17 homers, 75 runs and 25 steals across 457 plate appearances when he faces lefty Matt Boyd (career 6.26 ERA, 1.46 WHIP) and a Tigers relief corps that ranks 22nd in baseball with a 4.31 ERA.

Justin Turner: Hitting .327 with 15 homers across 165 at-bats since June 7, the third baseman will bring a red-hot bat and a lifetime .358 wOBA against right-handers (.309 vs. lefties) into a matchup with righty Zack Godley (career 4.31 ERA, 1.40 WHIP) and a D-backs squad that ranks 29th in baseball with a .670 defensive efficiency ratio.

Adrian Gonzalez: With nine homers across 360 at-bats this season, the first baseman could have a reduced price tag in DraftKings contests when he brings his impressive lifetime .896 OPS against right-handers (.766 vs. lefties) into a matchup with the right-handed Godley and a D-backs bullpen that ranks 27th in the Majors with a 4.62 ERA.

David Ortiz: One of the most productive hitters of his generation, Ortiz owns a lifetime 161 wRC+ against right-handers that exceeds his 111 mark vs. lefties. The slugger will be in great position to add to his impressive 2016 totals of 25 homers and 84 RBIs across 336 at-bats when he tangles with Angels righty Tim Lincecum (8.70 ERA, 2.30 WHIP in 2016).

Travis Shaw: The third baseman will be in great position to improve on his lifetime .269/.341/.461 slash line against right-handers when he faces the righty Lincecum, who owns a 4.86 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP since the outset of 2012.

Adam Eaton: The outfielder could have a great game when he brings his lifetime .146 ISO against right-handers (.068 vs. lefties) into a matchup with righty Ricky Nolasco (5.40 ERA, 1.41 WHIP in 2016) and a Twins relief corps that ranks 23rd in the Majors with a 4.42 ERA. Also of note: Eaton will attempt to put balls into play against a Minnesota squad that ranks last in baseball with a .667 defensive efficiency ratio.

Joey Votto: The first baseman has used an elite combination of power and patience to post an impressive lifetime .315/.435/.546 slash line against right-handers. Votto could put a ball into the outfield seats or reach base often when he meets up with righty Edwin Jackson (career 4.58 ERA, 1.45 WHIP) and a Padres bullpen that ranks 24th in baseball with a 4.44 ERA.

Odubel Herrera: The outfielder will be in position to reach base often and score multiple runs when he brings his lifetime 120 wRC+ against right-handers (86 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Braves rookie righty Tyrell Jenkins (6.17 ERA, 1.89 WHIP). Herrera could also swipe a base against catcher A.J. Pierzynski, who sometimes struggles to thwart would-be base stealers.

Maikel Franco: As a big leaguer, the third baseman has produced a .790 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .724 mark vs. lefties. Franco could have a great game when he faces the inexperienced righty Jenkins (23 1/3 career innings) and a Braves bullpen that ranks 21st in baseball with a 4.21 ERA.

Curtis Granderson: Hitting at or near the top of the order, the outfielder may maximize his opportunities to reach base and score runs when he brings his lifetime 129 wRC+ against right-handers (88 vs. lefties) into a matchup with righty Tyler Chatwood (career 4.18 ERA, 1.51 WHIP) and a Rockies relief corps that ranks 28th in the Majors with a 4.83 ERA.

Brad Miller: With 15 homers across 327 at-bats this season, the shortstop has been one of the most powerful players at his premium position this season. Miller could fare well when he brings his lifetime .185 ISO against right-handers (.091 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Yankees righty Ivan Nova (career 4.37 ERA, 1.38 WHIP).

Daniel Murphy: Hitting .354 with 20 homers across 367 at-bats this season, the second baseman has been one of the most productive hitters at his premium position. Murphy could continue his stellar campaign when he takes his lifetime .806 OPS against right-handers (.709 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Giants righty Jeff Samardzija (4.68 ERA since the outset of 2015).

Bryce Harper: Since the outset of last season, the outfielder has produced a lofty .300/.444/.602 slash line against right-handers. Harper may be worth a major investment in DraftKings contests when he faces the right-handed Samardzija, who has a 6.32 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP across his past 10 starts.

A.J. Griffin: The fly-ball-prone righty will be in excellent position to thrive when he brings his lifetime 3.69 ERA into a matchup with a Royals lineup that ranks 29th in the Majors in ISO vs. righties (.129) and 28th in total home runs (85).

Trevor Bauer: The right-hander will be in great position to improve on his 3.65 ERA this year when he works at home against an A's lineup that ranks 26th in baseball with a .702 OPS against righties.

Jake Odorizzi: Since joining the Rays at the outset of 2013, the right-hander has posted a 3.12 ERA when working at his pitcher-friendly home park (4.67 on the road). Odorizzi could spin a gem when he takes the mound at home against a Yankees lineup that ranks 24th in OPS vs. righties (.705) and 28th in OPS on the road (.678).
